Railway and Intermodality Working Group
This working group is an ad-hoc body of the Steering Committee of South East Europe Transport Observatory (SEETO). The SEETO is a regional transport organization established in 2004 by the Memorandum of Understanding for the development of the Core Regional Transport Network. Its aim is to promote cooperation on the development of the main and ancillary infrastructure on the multimodal South East Europe Core Regional Transport Network, to promote and enhance local capacities for the implementation of investment programs, management and data collection and analysis of the Core Regional Transport Network. The Memorandum was signed by the Governments of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Serbia and the United Nations Mission in Kosovo and the European Commission.
The 12th meeting of Railway and Intermodality Working Group was held on 5-6 October 2010 in Zagreb, Croatia, where the representatives of European Railway Agency and the SEETO signatory states gave their presentations. Also, the Chairperson of the Administrative Board of the Rail Market Regulatory Agency (ARTZU) presented the experiences of the Croatian regulator in its first year of activity.
